Project Scope and Workplan

To accomplish the goals of this project on a shoe-string budget the project will be broken down into “bite-sized” chunks.  The project approach will be to prototype a chunk, test it, learn from it, fix it and then roll it out. The goal is to have tested all the chunks by November, for a roll out of  by Thanksgiving.

The chunks that are envisioned are:

1) Email campaign to the existing Pratham e-mail database, which is estimated to be approximately 9000 names.

2)FaceBook campaign

3)Twitter campaign

4)LinkedIn campaign

5)Youtube campaign

5)Slideshare campaign

6)Docstoc campaign.

Each of these campaigns require the following skill sets to execute:

a)Campaign concept design

b)Creative

b)Programming

c)Tracking and data analytics

d)Ongoing prospect/donor support

e)Software platform.

Though each chunk is a separate module all the chunks link together into a cohesive social networking platform for Pratham. Pictorially, the platform can be viewed as shown below:
